Gary I don’t always agree with your articles … but this one is exceptional. It captures why politics have become a platform for egos not problem solving. Ted Cruz isn’t my choice anyway. His walking around a group of wheelchair occupants rather then talking to them, is further proof of the talking heads and candidates not wanting to answer questions only debate issues (difference of opinion) with the opposition not deal with problems to which they would have to present a solution of “how to” not just blustering about the other persons avoiding the questions … thus we have reached the pinnacle of “dumbing down Americans”.
If you notice the word issue has replaced every other word for not facing the problem … intentionally I propose. We just sit back and let the spin doctors run the show. Another oxymoron is “lawmaker”. With 40,000 laws being passed across the country per year how long does it take to realize we let “the lawakers” take away our freedoms one at a time. I propose for every law passed there be a rule that at least five or more have to be removed. But if we did that what would lawmakers do to justify their existence … maybe “job maker” would be a better job description. My position is we don’t need another attorney running our great American Enterprise … we need a salesman of the likes of Regan, Clinton, Kennedy and now Trump.
The years we have done well in selling our American wares and balancing our priorities were during their Presidencies. The worst is yet to come if we fall for the constitutionalists that don’t know how to run a business or fight a clean fight. See my blog www.americanenterpriseparty.com where I will post these comments on your one in a few hundred articles. I’m sure our war veterans thank for your insight and hope we have peace in the future. Best regards. Jerry Rhoads
