Here is the blog review for you book: Failing Government Taketh Away, Xlibris publishing (Global Summit House literary agent), 2014
I am reviewing this book, not because I recently read it but because I speak favorably of the ideas it advocates. I just can’t say enough about how astounding I thought this book was and what it did for me and my knowledge of health care delivery and spending. I received a copy of this book for review and was pleasantly surprised to find that it was not at all what I had expected.
A CPA and a health care administrator, author Jerry L. Rhoads, make a fact-based case that government dominance in health care funding and spending will kill competition and enterprise. His book “Failing Government Taketh Away” shares awareness of the difficult situations and an empirical solution to the Government driven cost. The author reckons we must get to the bottom these issues and that it must be solved instead of just debating issues between the red and blue parties. This book suggests a third-party opinion on how health care must become the responsibility of individuals for their own greater good. It also gives prominence to primary research and cautious readings of previously published studies and expounds the problems and proposes common sense solutions.
I learned so much from this book. This book was really a life-changing experience for me. This was an amazing resource to not only correct common misconceptions about health care, but to provide the tools to anyone looking to better advocate, engage, or cope with these matters in question. I’ve still got more exploring and studying to do, but this was the perfect jumping off point into this journey. Rhoads’s writing is straight to the point, appropriate, intelligent, and relevant – truly one of the best in this genre that should be read time and again. This is really one of those books that I am glad that I have. It’s useful, and I think it fulfilled a need in my life that I’ve had a long time. I feel like having this book is part of being a responsible adult. I just can’t say enough about how incredible I thought this book was and what it did for me and my knowledge and definitely was a revelation to these sensible citizens. I highly recommend it.
